Information About NZeTA

                                                                                                    1.  With This NZeTA You Can

                                                                                                    -   Travel to New Zealand without first applying for a visa — if you are travelling on a passport from a visa waiver country, a cruise ship passenger or a permanent resident of Australia.

                                                                                                    -   Pass through Auckland International Airport as a transit passenger on the way to or from Australia.

                                                                                                    -   Pass through Auckland International Airport as a transit passenger on the way to another country — if you are from a visa waiver or transit visa waiver country.

                                                                                                    -   Get someone to help you with your NZeTA request — you will need to tell them about your criminal conviction history and whether you are seeking medical treatment in New Zealand.

                                                                                                     
                                                                                                     

                                                                                                    2. How long is the NZeTA valid?

                                                                                                    The NZeTA allows you to stay for a maximum of 3 months per stay (or 6 months if you’re from the UK) and up to 6 months per year. Once issued, the NZeTA is valid for 2 years and you can enter and leave the country multiple times.

                                                                                                    3. Document Requirements For NZeTA

                                                                                                    Traveller's passport: 

                                                                                                    • The eTA application requires the applicants to upload the scanned Bio-Page of the Passport (valid at least 3 months validity after the date you plan to leave New Zealand).

                                                                                                    • Show your biographical data (name, country of birth, date of birth, passport number, expiration date, etc...)


                                                                                                    Personal Photo Requirements:

                                                                                                    • The photo must comply with the standards for passport photos: well lit, facing the camera, without any hair masking the face, without a marked smile, etc.

                                                                                                    • You can take a picture of yourself on a clear, plain wall and send it to us.

                                                                                                    4. Who is eligible for NZeTA?

                                                                                                    The people from 60 visa waiver countries, and people from the other 137 eligible countries can apply for the NZeTA:

                                                                                                    5. Port of Arrival

                                                                                                    Australian permanent residents  or applicants whose nationalities belong to  60 visa waiver countries  can travel to New Zealand  by airplane or cruise ship . Whereas, applicants who are  non-Australian permanent residents  and whose nationalities belong to  the other 137 eligible countries  must travel to New Zealand  by cruise ship .

                                                                                                    NOTE:

                                                                                                    -  The processing time is up to 3 business days, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and Public holidays.
                                                                                                    -  Passport should have at least 3 months of validity after the date you plan to leave New Zealand. The passport should have at least two blank pages for stamping by the Immigration Officer.
                                                                                                    -  The validity of eTA will be 2 years from the date your NZeTA is issued.
                                                                                                    -  The stay period in New Zealand is up to 3 months for most applicants. Only applicants from the United Kingdom are allowed to stay in New Zealand for up to 6 months.

                                                                                                    -  The NZeTA is valid for multiple entries.
